Need Help with Writing Ideas

OK, So I have created this site to help me come up with some writing ideas. I have a few things that I want to write about but I am wanting some imput from you guys.

What I am asking is for you to maybe tell me what interests you in regards to what kind of books do you enjoy reading. What is the topics or genres that you are usually drawn to.

I usually go more towards the realistic type stories but I am thinking that is about time for a change which is where my dilemma is. I am not that creative when it comes to something other than real life kinds of things. I am always worried about my ideas being stupid or not believable. I am kinda interested in maybe writing some kind of fantasy type story. I am not really picky at the moment. All I really care about it getting some ideas going so maybe I can get past this horrible writer's block.

I will take any advice or suggestions you may have for me. All I ask is if you are going to just post a cruel or stupid comment about something unrelated please go somewhere else for that. I really want only the serious people to respond. Granted I know that is not going to happen but at least I have said my piece.
